Hey, my name is Maya and im going to be a freshman at CMC. I'm from DC so I'm really excited to be in California next year!
This summer I've been working at a camp and trying to work out in the morning because it is super hot and muggy here. (Thankfully I've heard that southern California doesn't get as humid as it does around here!) I’m not sure what I want to major in but I love Spanish and want to continue to study it (and hopefully study abroad at some point)
Anyways, I just thought I'd introduce myself. I can't wait to meet and play soccer with you guys in a few weeks!!
Hi Maya! Thanks for posting. Spanish at CMC is pretty fun depending on what level/professor you have. Definitely ask us about the professors when you are scheduling your classes during orientation! Also, if you are interested in studying abroad, there are a few players you can talk to. You should definitely start planning ahead, I thought about it too late and wasn't able to go :( but hope you are having a great summer, can't wait to meet you!
