Hey guys!!!

Hey!
My name is Sara Tweedy and I will be a Sophomore next year at Harvey Mudd. I play defense mostly and I think I might major in bio-chem. I somehow managed to get two chill part time jobs up here in Michigan; I am working in the weight room at University of Detroit Mercy for June and July and I'm researching at the University of Michigan. Its pretty awesome, but I can't wait to go back to Cali (away from all this humidity!) and play some real soccer with y'all! I'm sooooo pumped for next season (as long as I manage to get into shape)!
Goooo Athenas!

Hollllllllllla!

Hola Chicas!

Hi my name is Jen Najjar (Rooooooooosssa also refers to me as "Fresh") I am going to be entering my Junior year at CMC. I'm a Government major with a sequence in Leadership. This summer I am back home in Santa Fe, New Mexico. I am interning for my Congressman and training with the enemy, aka my twin brother Jeff, who will now play soccer for Occidental. I also spent all of last semester talking about participating in show "Wipeout" with Rossssssa, but WE BOTH failed at following through with it. Anyone who is interested should let us know. WE are def going to get on it (or at least the application process) this summer, so we can dominate not only on the soccer field, but reality t.v. :D To all the returners- I can't wait to see ya ladies in August. I am literally counting down the days-63. To all the newbies-If you have any questions on classes, professors, dorms, dining halls, roomies etc. please don't hesitate to ask. (e-mail any of us. My e-mail is jnajjar13@cmc.edu. )

p.s. This is an S.O.S. Work can be really dull sometimes and I get delirious. If anyone is bored hit me up on gchat or fb chat. We will have really entertaining convos-that is a promise.

Anywho, I'm super stoked about this season! I'll be in San Fran this summer for an internship and will be training my ass off to work the past 4 months of gyros off. Please feel free to complain on this blog, I certainly will be.

Miss you guys and cant wait to see everyone soon and to hear from the freshmen!!!

Herrrrooo

Hey guys,
My name is Madi and I am going to be a Junior at Scripps majoring in Media Studies and minoring in Psychology. I am a forward and am from the Bay Area. I also play lacrosse (if any freshmen want to play both and keep the tradition of playing both alive let me know!) and since I don't want to miss a season with either team I am going abroad this summer instead of the school year. I am leaving in 2 weeks and will be spending 6 weeks at the London School of Economics. I am also planning trips to Spain and Paris so I'll keep you updated on that! Can't wait to see everyone in August and meet all of you freshmen!
Madi
ps. if you are having trouble figuring out how to post like I was its on the very top left corner!

Hellooooooo Athenas!!!!

Hello people!

My name is Julia Nishioka, and I am one of your co-captains for this upcoming season!  Just wanted to start off the blog.  I am from Honolulu, HI, and will be a senior at CMC, majoring in Science and Management (Biotechnology sequence).  I am applying to dental schools this summer, so if any of you incoming freshmen have any pre-health questions, please let me know (Michele and Rosa, other seniors on the team, will also be able to help!).

This summer, I am working a few soccer camps and taking summer school at the University of Hawaii.  I just got back from a trip to Brazil, where we played soccer and played tourist, it was amazing!!!  Some of the Brazilian teams were really good, but I definitely know our team could keep up with them :).  Now, I am back home, and working hard to get back into shape!  I also have been going to practice with some of the younger teams in my club, Honolulu Bulls.  We actually just had a training session with the coach of the Men's U21 Irish National Team, he had a really cool accent and called the boys, "lads" or "chaps," it was great.

Hope everyone is having a great summer.  Can't wait to hear from you all!
